Individual therapy helps you take control of your life by learning about your moods, feelings, thoughts and behaviors.
Not everyone who benefits from therapy is diagnosed with a mental illness. Therapy can help with a number of life stressors and conflicts that can affect anyone. For example, it may help you:

- Relieve anxiety or stress due to work or other situations
- Cope with major life changes
- Learn to manage unhealthy reactions

Sometimes it's necessary to hold a family session or couples session to help you resolve personal issues. Dr. Christine Dickson will work with you to determine when a family session or couples session would be benficial.
